Bungkus Kaw Kaw is famous for strong, full-flavoured traditional foods & beverages made
from our own secret family recipes. Our name comes from the Malay word “bungkus” (take
away) and the Hokkien word “kaw” (thick).

Just say “bungkus kaw kaw” and you’ll get an authentic, full-bodied Malaysian drink to go,
packed in a plastic bag and secured with a red plastic cord that also serves as a carrier sling.
Quench your thirst with authentic, traditional drinks like Teh Tarik, Kopi or Cham. We aim to
be in every town and city in Malaysia, so everybody can say “Bungkus Kaw Kaw!”

With the influx of foreign coffee franchises, it has become difficult to buy authentic
traditional beverages, especially in shopping malls and offices. Bungkus Kaw Kaw’s mission is
to make these familiar favourites widely available again, made fresh-to-order in the original,
full-flavoured way, at an affordable price. And like all self-respecting mamaks, kopitiams and
warungs, we have our own home-made secret recipes and pride ourselves on pulling no
punches in giving you the strongest, perfect traditional brew.

Our signature drinks, Kopi Kaw Kaw, Teh Tarik Kaw Kaw and Cham Kaw Kaw are made the
good old-fashioned way to ensure the taste of authenticity and traditional. Not only our
lokal drinks are great, we also offer a variety of foods such as Nasi Lemak, Chee Cheong Fun,
Loh Mai Kai, Bihun Siam, Kuih Muih, Roti Bakar, etc. That shape our Malaysian culture today!
